I need a new sprocket nose for a factory stihl bar. Is this bar made by stihl, or is it made by someone else. The tip looks very similar to some windsor tips.

Thats what you get for buying such an odd ball, missengineered brand as Stihl.

Send a letter to Germany and tell them that you need a new tip.

We are AC friends already, I was just funnin with you.

Wouldn't you wish they engineered all saws as good as ACs?

Thats why I painted my stihl orange. I thought it was worthy of a good paint job. It was easier than painting my allis grey.

Take it in to your stihl dealer and tell them to sell you a new tip. If they don't have one and can't order one, then they'll tell you where you can.

The Stihl bar aint bad, there just over priced and the tips are a pain to put in, and they usually cost 4or5$ more than the rest.
