I can only do 2 cuts a week with this Red Oak but we're getting there. Borrowed this Husky 385xp from a friend to take care of some light work since I can't get my 62 cc Roper to run.

That's slabbing with patience. I guess the log needs to rest.

Keep at it, you'll be done in a month or so.
 
27.5'. One will turn into a bench top for my two turret radial saws at 25'-9" and the others only time will tell. You could make one big flat bottom boat out of three?
 
I would probably build a rolling shop bench with a machinist cabinet underneath, covered with a roll-top style front-piece. Can't wait to see some of the wood in a project.
