Whenever I move my stop switch forward on my 015 the saw keeps running. My questions is: I removed the cover and looked at the spring connected on the switch. When I push it forward to the stop position, it does touch the bump (looks like a weld). That is all it touches. Is the back part or end of the spring also suppose to make contact with the metal part of the the saw? In other words is the spring suppose to touch the weld and the metal part of the combustion chamber also? Should I bend the spring down? Having a difficult time explaining this one! :givebeer:

contact

The spring touches the wire, I believe this is the bump you see. Italso touches the underside of the case. this is where you must clean to get the ground back to shut off the saw.
