sugestions for new equipment...

i've been climbing for about 2 years and was looking to retire so if not all my gear and was wondering what i should be leaning towards in terms of new ropes and saddle. I do work climbing, and i climb now with a Buckingham floating D leg straps, and 1/2 hi-vee. is 3/8 or 11 mm better for working in, what do you guys suggest for a new saddle...
any input is appreciated
