First I would like to say thanks for all of the input and help!

I would like to plant one more tree in my yard. I would like this tree to have fall coloring of yellow or light orange. I was thinking oak but there are so many different types. I not that concerned with fast growth. Moderate growth rate is fine . This trees will be about 50 feet from a Blaze Maple and 45 Feet from a Fruiless Sweetgum.. Any thoughts????

This is a great site!!!!

Ron,
A yellow fall color tree is easy to pick, but what kind of tree are you looking at? Such as lower, understory type, medium height say under 40' in mature height or large canopy tree.

Fall yellow color:
Hackberry (Big)
Katsura (Medium)
Red Buckeye (Small)

try Nyssa slvatica (black tupelo) it has beautiful orange to red fall color. it is native here in DE. and can take zone 3 to 9. This tree is great . not many problems, maybe an occasional fall webworm. John
