Hi all,
I try to understandng this species. The bark of the tree is normally very thick and at times peeling off.
But from the pic, I suspect the tree may be suffered from an infection of disease extending inward from the bark, cabium to sapwood and becmes sapwood rot. It seems no woundwood development around this area.
Kindly let me know whether I am right or not.
Thanks.
Jackie
