I wanted to know if making a cambium save out of tenex would be a good idea. I wanted to make one rather then buying one that would be around 50 dollars to try and save some money. What do you guys think?

tenex makes a great saver. i like to use 3/8 and always put 1in nylon tube to protect the easly picked strands. i buy from seattle marine.
