I am begging for the owners and shop manuals for a Craftsman 3.7, the saw I started with 50 years ago.

Is there a model number?
917.xxxxxx would be made by Roper
358.xxxxxx would be made by Poulan

Unfortunately I don't have my original saw. I gave it away years ago after many cords of wood. I just bought one on eBay and don't have it yet. I will be able to check the model number when I get it. Thanks for the info.

By looking at pictures I think it's a Roper.
