Pittsburgh to the west, Philadelphia to the east, "Pennsyltucky" in between the two is what I've heard.

Regardless, proud Keystone citizen here. I will make it out to the western portion of the state one day. I'm something like 6 hours or so from Pittsburgh. Would be a nice drive on the PA turnpike for sure.
The Turnpike sucks, take another route. Last good memory I have of Philly is Bookbinders, they still in business?
 
I went to philly to visit the Mutter museum. Never been out of the city but I hear theres some nice country north of the city. I didn't care for the city much but I'm from a small town 20 minutes from Gettysburg.

On the opioid thing. It is a problem everywhere I've lost friends to heroin and watched my BIL struggle with addiction for years.
