These items came with some chainsaw stuff from a local CL post.

Never saw a file holder like this - anyone familiar with these? I assume that the 'wing' is just to align the top plate angle? Came with some paperwork from a saw sold in 1980, but could have been bought earlier or later.

Plastic wedges with mashed tops, or with chainsaw damaged tips I have seen. This wedge appears to have been deliberately cut at a 45° angle and left blunt. Any idea what sawing task this might be used for? It came with some other wedges and chainsaw stuff, but maybe it was modified for some non-chainsaw/wood cutting task.

I have a file holder like that. I never use holders so not sure how to use that particular one. The wedge was probably cut with a saw, I have some like that created while felling. (not intentionally)
