Got a call last week from my botany professor for a one day job at the Thomsen Foundation. (More about the Foundation here. Also, an article with a little more background: Gainesville Daily Register

The first tree was a hazard tree. An old oak that had fell years ago and leaned on two elms.

I was given permission to cut 6 trees if needed to dislodge the windfall oak. Only ended up cutting one of the six.

nailed that stump!

now this cedar to the left of the windfall stump gets a little wiggle room.
