I picked up a used 27 troy bilt log splitter cylinder today to replace the one that went bottoms up, and the cylinder has a leak in the front cover where the rod passes through. The cover has two bolts on each side, but after removing the cover still doesnt want to tap in no matter how much I tapped on it.Anyone know of something else you are supposed to do to get this thing out? Worked on many cylinders before ,but never had one this dogged about coming out.
