The leaves on my neighbor's Tulip-Poplar are turning yellow and falling; they do this every July. Anyone know of any other trees that have leaves that turn this early?

i just planted 3 of them...about 3 feet tall. still have green leaves.

Poplars do start to have a few yellow leaves here and there in july. All of the (very healthy, all 24" +) poplars in my yard have yellow leaves here and there with the green right now. I'm no expert, but I guess they just use up the useful lifespan of those leaves quicker. Maybe b/c they grow faster than other trees....????????????Don't know.

i have some 60 ft poplars way out back and they are shedding alot of leaves now. i'm not sure if it's because of lack of rain or just the cycle they go thru....i never paid too much attention.
