346 cyls. are 44.3, I have 2 44 m/m cyls. off 351s which will fit your 346 but I doubt that's what you want.

Thank you sir- I guess I’m not well versed on these smaller saws. What’s the difference in the 351 346 44mm cylinder?

a good idea if your 346 is an NE is to put the coil from it on the XT then go unlimited for the 346 and 390.

Good idea- the 346 has the higher rpm limiter on the stock coil than the XT. Forgot about that- it is a NE btw, so thank you.

I really hate the limited coils!

The 44 m/m cyl. was only used in the 351 & some 350s. It is an open port cyl. with less power than both the 42 m/m & 44.3 m/m 346 cyls.
It was never used on the 346 tho it would bolt rite on.

Understood- I’ll pass and likely order a new OEM 44.3 cylinder.
