Greetings All,

I know this post is way off the subject but I really need some advice. Today the clutch on my chipper wouldn't disengage. The lever wouldn't move at all so I tried rocking it back and forth and now it moves to the engaged and disengaged positions but there's no tension on it either way. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey trees, Welcome to the site. You can stick this over on the climbers forum and get more attention. I have never worked with a 1250 but it sounds like a linkage came loose. I actually had an actuating rod break at a weld on a different brand. A few minutes with the welder had it fixed better than new.
