Greetings,

I seriously need some mechanical advice. Today the clutch on my chipper wouldn't disengage. The lever wouldn't move at all so I tried rocking it back and forth and now it moves to the engaged and disengaged positions but there's no tension on it either way. Any advice would be appreciated!

you should have a inspection plate on the bell house, take it off look and also smell to see if your pressure plate is disengaging.you may be able to adjust the tension. if not you can call vermeer or a rockford clucth dealer.there is a company called autoclucth that is self-adjusting ,but about twice the money.
