anyone got any more feed back on this stumper ,doesn't seem that popular a model ,even though i like it . Has anyone field trialled one or even bought one

Vermeer dealer brought one out for us to try out, seemed to work just fine it had a 35 horse diesel on it. Plenty of power for the stumps we ground. I liked the hi-low travel speed. It will get to the stump alot quiker than our Rayco 1625 jr. Can't answer about long term we couldn't agree on a price so we stayed with the Rayco, we had just installed a new engine on it.

Demo one before I bought my 1625A, had more power and faster ground speed, but was very top heavy and thought extra weight and height would be clumsy in some tight spaces. Like the diesel though and heard from my Rayco guy that they were testing a diesel for the 1631 maybe next year?
