Hi folks,
I really want to start burning again. We moved to a new house that has a fireplace
(see photo).
It is one of those fancy double sided ones with glass doors on the dining room and living room. Very nice in theory. But it sure does suck for utility (heat). And for whatever reason, it stinks up the house something awful. (smoke) The latter problem is not even worth fixing in my opinion because I want something for heat first and looks/mood second.
I have not really looked for a product made for this yet. I am starting my investigation here with you knowledgable people. My thoughts are to find a regular stove that fits in the space and somehow hook it up to the existing flue... probably would need a 6" liner, no?
Any other suggestions?
