Hi,
I have a Dolmar 109 (happy start). I have always found that the chain has a spot where it grabs very slightly. Upon reading this site and others, I think I may been sold the wrong pitch chain.
From what I can gather the shop had always given me 3/8" chain, I have a few Oregon chains marked "73". But I think the Dolmar uses .325 chain pitch ? So I'm thinking that the teeth on the spocket aren't matching, hence causing the 'grab'.
Can anyone offer any more info or advice.
Also.. what file should I be using for the 3/8" chain. The guy gave me 7/32 but it seems to big, I've been using 13/64 previously ?????
