I'm adventurous as they come but this is over my head (literally). This tall cherry has been growing towards the sunlight but a recent windstorm has tipped it a bit and now it s partially hung up in a nearby pine. Good thing, too, or it possibly would have squished by workshop.

You can set a pulley in the tree behind it and tie off the top. then just cut it from the bottom til it hangs, then lower it.
 
Do what treeseer said. Just be aware, that if you cut enough off the bottom, it will become top heavy and flip on you. It is best to have it down on the ground before it does that.
 
Hate to do it..... Call a Pro. It looks to have a target. That is a simple deal to a pro, could be life altering to anyone else. If you are determined to do it yourself, at least have someone come look at it. Tho much good advice is available here, we cannot see the real deal with out looking at it in person. There may be that one little thing that could change the way we would do it, but cant see it in pics.
