It's time to replace my ms390 with 24" bar. It's the saw I use for most removals before opting to pull out the ms660 with 36" bar.

It's been about 3 years since I've bought a new saw. I was thinking the ms360pro but would welcome suggestions from the field. I want to put the 24" bar from my ms390 on the new saw since I have quite a few chains in that size.

Thanks.

The ms360 was replaced by the ms361 90% of the reccomendations your going to get here will be the ms361 if thats the size of saw you want!

They don't make the MS360 anymore, but they make an MS361. However if your using a 24" bar on it I would opt for the MS441 or MS460 instead.

24 is very common out here... Depends what you are cutting, and what width. If you were happy with the 390 and 24, the 361 with 24 will suit you nicely also.

However, you really need to step up to the three saw plan :greenchainsaw:

You have the 24" bar from your 390 , real close to the same power with the 361 .

Your going to get a bar with your new 361 , might as well get it in a 16" and you have a lot of options in the wood.

(Little wood, 361/16" & 660/24' , biggger wood/work 361/24" & 660/36")

Can't go wrong with with a new ms 460 24" B/C, big spike kit and DP cover

MS441, or 361 if you want to use the bar you already have and order it with the 16" like someone said.

That's a good looking saw !

I vote for the 460 also. Don't worry about the antivibe and the weight
You'll be cutting so much wood so fast, you'll be home before you notice....
