to go faster do I use smaller or bigger chain drive sprocket engine is a 4.5 HP original cylinder and piston with over sized rings and open exost (has muffler but does no good it's made that way) and what is the best size to use:chainsawguy::chainsawguy::chainsawguy:

larger for faster on the motor. Smaller on the drive axel for faster.

The bigger the sprocket on the motor the faster it will turn the chain. But it will also change your link count that you will need on your bar. I am looking for a 9 tooth for my 066.

thanks ryan that's exactly Wat I kneaded to no I Have 8 tooth on it now hoping to go 10 tooth also a mild porting job muffler don't mater cause never did even wen new heck it blows exhaust gaskets in 30-60 seconds so y bother
