What wood species is this?

It doesn’t smell anything, it is extremely dry. I will ask my uncle if he remembers what the leaves looked like

Might get a whiff of something if ya drag a saw or rasp across it. Maybe a little moisture will help drag a fragrance out.. Just thinking. Kinda new to this guessing game.

You the man. I get lucky, but most my wood comes in with not a leaf one. So I have had to learn bark, texture, scent.I miss more often than not.. But I fake it real goody
