My heart just skipped a beat. This saw deserves/ requires a build thread. That thread will determine the saws future in my line up.
I'd better slow down or I'm going to burn out in a couple months, lol. With this thing it's either on or off, no in between.
It's only a 42cc saw.

I was curious what the weight difference was between the 241 and the 261.
These are with no fuel or oil. The 261 has a 3/8 16" B&C, and the 241 has a .325 16" B&C.

I got money burning a hole in my pocket.
opcorn: Im gonna put this sucker in my truck, so I can clear low limbs when hauling these storage buildings down the country roads. I flip the low lines up onto the roof line, but sometimes run into a limb that wont give. opcorn:

Well if you are gonna use a top handle saw for what it's designed for, weight is very important.

lift saw. set lower side of bar on top of branch. hit throttle. ride it to the bottom of cut. repeat. a little extra "junk in the trunk" should help.
Never been an issue in other areas.

I loved how the 338 felt lighter weight and balance best even over my 200 that felt heavier IMO. Even though 338 wasnt built as nice as 200.
Sold the last 338 with 540 in mind.
Randy I'll give you a piece of fresh pecan pie if you weigh the 540 PHO for me and then the 241 PHO too for the ice cream scoop.
