Assuming they exist of course..... The new chain on my small Poulan is lasting a lot longer than normal but I haven't hit any rocks yet : - )
Its not a question of if, just when ..

Carbide

Yes they do exist....check out Stihlusa.com and look under products to find the chains. They're called Duro chains. They're carbide tipped and very expensive. and also it looks like they only come in 3/8 pitch, so they may not fit a "pullin" saw
