I've got a bunch of trees to prune high up. When I was 10 years younger climbing 30 feet up was easier. Now I'm looking at getting minimal climbing gear. I've got some pretty good rope but one thing that I'm aggravated with is the price of locking carabiners. Every place seems so be charging $15@ or more and very few places sell in quantity.
On Amazon they've got several sellers that seem reasonable but then they always put in the ad "not for climbing".
I've looked at WesSpur, REI, Campmor, even WalMart.
Walmart seems to have the best price for what I'm sure is a cheap chinese thing "iClover [3 Pack] Locking Climbing Carabiners Ultra Tech 30KN Aluminum Screwgate Carabiner Screw Lock D-ring".
But is there any place I can buy like Black Diamond cheaper by the 6 pack?
