Which safety gear would you recommend?

I wear chaps when I'm limbing small trees. Other then that I wear tin or carhartt pants.

I once sawed a day in the woods with one of the forestry helmets on. When I got home my neck was sore so I switched to a full brim hat and plugs.

I say wear whatever you feel comfortable sawing with on.
