I milled these walnut slabs last year. The pictures were taken right after the cuts were made. This tree had a lot of character and expression, the spalting in the wood is fantastic. Photo below;
I milled these slabs last year as well. They were from a much older tree that had been dear and buried in an organic landfill for 30 years. It is also full of color and character.
My question is which type of wood do you think makes a better peice of slab furniture?
