Hello, Forum members:

Two chainsaws were listed on Ebay this week as McCullochs. Neither looks like any Mac I've seen. The first one sold yesterday. You can see the ended auction at:

Here are two pix of the saw. Can anyone identify the actual maker??

The other chainsaw is shown below. It is currently listed on eBay as a "Vintage McCulloch Lumber Jack Chainsaw". Can anyone tell me who was the actual maker of this saw?? .... and/or the other one??

Sorry, only the one photo of the second saw is available. The auction may be viewed at:

I've looked all over Mike's site and can't pin 'em down.... :bang:

Thanks.

I think it may be a Power Products AH-xx or a West Bend. But, really, I don't know..... and I don't have either saw in hand to look at them in detail.

My searches through Mike's site showed that saws similar to these two were made by Indian (!!), Clinton, Mono, Root, and several other lesser-known companies.... Yet, none of the photos of saws in Mike's site (that I found, anyway) matched these saws exactly.

I was hoping that putting pix in here would lead to one of the old-timer collectors here being able to identify the saws right away......
