I have some Stihl boots that look similiar but I think the eyelet holes are differant. I believe they are steel capped and they are suprisingly light. Got em used about 1 year ago off ebay. Wear them an average of about 30 hours a week. Reasonably comfortable , recently starting to seperate at the seams some so I am starting to look for a comparable replacement.

Please post if you find a good, steel-tip protective boot. The one that is cut through in the beginning of this video has another video of it being tested in a laboratory in Portugal. The saw comes bar and chain comes across the face of the boot and it stops the chain. If you had only seen this lab video, you might think this was good protection. It appears as if a steel toe is mandatory.
