I figure it's either because they can, or Darwinism at it's best.

I guess he thinks the cutting edge is the tip of the bar LMAO

I understand why they show cutting rounds as an example of how much better there saw runs after a mod, but that, because he can?:hmm3grin2orange:

At first I thought he was going to cut his bangs, the way he was skipping the tip around. New saw, maybe not to bright!?

I couldn't tell if he was just showin off, or if he was legitimately practicing plunge cuts. Definitely needs the practice on how to start a plunge. I kept waiting for that saw to kick back and give him a red and white landing strip right down the center of his forehead. :dizzy:

the end grain is a stupid place to start practice.

Yep. Always start with the lower quadrant of the bar for a plunge cut and you won't have all that catching and likely kickback.

IMO, Just your typical husky guy.

Dog looks smarter than the owner, chain is loose and hammering the sprocket, mabye when he gets out of the hospital a member here can buy it on the cheap off CL, Shout does a good job on blood and flesh removal.

I think he has a death wish. Thinks he is a pro and wants to show off his new toys but doesn't have a clue. Check out one of his other vids. Go to 1:18

To prove to himself that he is a bad ass. BTW I could plunge cut way better than that not that I would do it for no good reason!

Well, the saw looked "new", so maybe he's the first in his group to get a saw and he's showing off!?
I always plunge cut a fallen tree I'm bucking to prevent my bar from getting pinched, maybe I need to practice that move?

He just clearly doesnt understand how to safely borecut. I have been cutting wood with friends and borecut a tree or a piece of firewood. next thing i know they were trying it and almost hurting themselves. I try not to borecut in front of people that cannot do it properly without telling them not to or without showing them how to do it properly.

He thinks he's cutting noodles. Doesn't know the difference between a bore cut and a noodle.
