First, I'm not trolling, just baffled!

On my homestead here in the PacNW, my main saw is a 026. Been with me cuttin' firewood for 17 seasons.
Bought a new bar for it at year 12. Just gave it a carb kit, it's like a new saw again.

Picked up a Jonsered 535 near mint condition a couple years ago, looked like someone forgot to tighten
the bar nuts, bent the adusting bolt, and put it on the shelf for decades without repair. It was an easy fix,
with a metric bolt, and a slot cut in the end for a screw driver. Cleaned the fuel system, and BANG, she goes!

Right now, I had a Pioneer P41 fall into my lap for free. I cleaned it up, filed the chain, and cut some big winter kill with it. Has a 28" Oregon bar on it.

Now, I have a bug for tools and equipment like many guys, but I don't get why someone would collect
boring saws? Sure, if someone gave me a Poulan, I'd give it a home, but I wouldn't "collect" 'em, & I wouldn't I pay $900 for a mint, NOS wild thing! Hell no! (I might do a double-take for an 026 however...)

Check out this listing from ebay... Why?? I could have an ms41 or ms660 or even an ms880 for less. This isn't the only boring saw like this on fleabay for rediculas asking prices:

Stihl ms200 T "FOR COLLECTOR" power head only

Hahahahaha! Are you serious?!

On a lighter note, check out this CAD bait. Now here's a saw with heaps of provenance! Wouldn't that look sweet above the mantel or wet bar? (or above the headboard with a mirror over it?)
