yes a mature doe and 2 yearlings---used a .270 on an island in the Missouri river

Here my freezer meat, good and chunky for a 3 pt. 280 150 grain nosler @190 yard offhand shot right on the mark. Longest standing offhand shot I have taken and I don't think I would want to shoot out any further without something to steady on.
Tough winter we had last year really showed up in the deer population this fall, likely only saw 1/3 to 1/2 the numbers we see most years.
