Anyone know what this wood is. It’s very light, has a cedar type of bark, and kind of smells like animal crackers. I’m guessing some kind of well grown bush but I’m not sure. Some pieces are probably 18 in diameter. It’s going into the owb so it’s not a big deal but I’m always trying to know what I’m splitting. There’s zero pine or cedar smell to it.6E697F94-EC4D-4AE1-AED3-980FF401DC9B.jpeg4DA56117-8A64-4504-AACC-4EB8C184A347.jpegD17053FE-E3D3-42A3-8F7A-49D19145195F.jpeg

Well since it has no smell of Cedar I would say like a huge Arborvitae type .

I was thinking that too, but it’s got zero of that citrusy pine scent and wasn’t sticky at all. Seems like it’ll make good fire starter for sure.
