I took some shots of woodland flowers and other cool things while on a walk in the woods while on our wood cutting trip.

This is the old root cellar from the original homestead (circa 1880's), I believe that's Trout Lilly in the foreground.

A Trillium. The red ones are a bit more rare around my neck of the woods... This is Ontario's Provincial flower.

Someone told me the name of this little flower last year.... The name escapes me at the present. But I really like it. The forest floor is carpeted in them in certain locations..

Butcher's Britches and a Disappearing Stream

These are Butcher's Britches I believe....

This little stream just disappears into the rocks.....

About 400 yards later I found it coming out of a rock face and draining into one of the lakes on the property.

Cool pics. I believe the first photo is of Adder's Toung. I have patches of them under maples in my back yard.
