Just wondering what you fallers are running these days?
Here on the island 576's,394/5's,390's...

Right now my go to saw has been my new 288Xp ,Modded 32" Oregon .404 Skip. For a older saw she pulls good and holds her own in big timber.

046, 066, 084.

The 46 by far gets the bulk of the work. Hang a 32 on'er and you'll not find much these days it won't handle, round these parts anyhow. The 84 rarely sees the light of day any more except for the very occasional outlaw, probably should break it down and give it a good going through. The 66 when there's a patch of big second.

Semi chain and round chisel. I don't do well with square and can't stand to have to pay for a grind every time it dulls. So until I can rat hole enough for a machine I'll stay with round grind.

460's and 32" bars are very common around here and my favorite.

Also full skip chain.

Some use round ground, others square ground. I use square ground chain.

390 with a 32 RW and I think your good for all of it. I can run longer bars on them too if need be. I want a 395 though.
