I dumped my abusive ex girlfriend named google. Set up a new account with new email-no posting history.

I bought a pile of saws from the original owner who clearly doesn’t believe in maintenance. Once something acts up just buy a new one. I’ll be keeping the Stihls. This is the second of the saws on my bench.

Assuming the p/c is good is this worth the time & money? I can see what appears to be very faint scoring through spark plug hole, have not pulled muffler yet. Compression seems strong but the decompressor won’t stay closed so I can’t give her solid, repeated pulls. It has been parked for a very long time. Of course I dumped a ton of fuel through the hole before slowly turning it over.

Oil & fuel tanks are corroded/paint chipping, carb, lines, brake, bar, chain, etc. Its been a dozen years since I’ve owned anything other than orange & have 0 spares for a mac. If one of you wants this thing make a trade offer for an 1980’s or newer Stihl with the same displacement or larger + or - cash, shipping is a wash. I’m in 37174 if you have cash but no trades.
