I want to let you guys know that I am going to sell my little Jacobson fork lift that I built. It is very handy to have around the yard/shop. I would like to see a fellow wood guy/gal own it so I am putting it here instead of the classified section. If it gets moved I understand but I am hoping that someone here can snag it. I bought a tractor so I no longer need it. I am looking for 300 for it.
I have a 71 Jacobson hydro stat lawn tractor that I turned around and made into a fork lift of sorts. It is a handy item to have around the shop. 14 hp Kohler, newer starter, newer exhaust. Has tire chains.

thank you,

I think you posted pics here a while back, no? Got links?

I use my little 1000# capacity Prime Mover forklift all the time! Handier than a shirt pocket!

Since you showed us yours, I'll show mine...:D

Seems like a great deal dave, hope somebody here snags it and puts 'er to good use!

I'm not sure how much it can lift, I lifted an Agway lawn tractor on a pallet onto my truck once with ease. I move my spare tires and wheels for my truck around with it and I cut pallets in half and can move them stacked with wood. I'm guessing 4-500 lbs. I know you could lift more if you made the mast tilt back. There is spare hydraulics for the mower deck lift that I thought could be used for tilt.
