Over the past 4 months I have lost 3 yews, and I cannot seem to figure out why.

At first I thought it was a heat wave in the northeast, but that wouldn't explain why some are living and others are not.

I have posted pictures of anything that looked strange to me, but I have no tree knowledge so do not know where to start.

They are many years old and have not been sprayed

Any ideas? I do not know much about trees, so any information would be helpful. Thank you

Thank you

It looks like you got a couple things going on. If I were to guess the dead yew and the yellowing one next to it, has a root rot issue most likely armillaria. The other pictures I see what looks to be mealybugs.
