Scored on a saw that I've been looking for...picked up at a garage sale a Partner S65 for $25.00. Took home put in fresh fuel and fired right up, idled perfectly. Chain was even sharp...pulled very nicely in a hickory log.

I had 2 decent scores this weekend. First, I got a 6 gallon Bostitch compressor. It does work, but the covers need a wash and there is a small leak, so I need to bubble test it. The intake filter looks like 3/8 NPT, so I am going to try and make one of my custom intake mufflers. On my oiled compressor, it made it about half as loud.
The 2nd score is an older Echo backpack blower. The guy thought it needed a carb kit, but I found out that the fuel line broke off just inside the grommet on the tank. I replaced the fuel lines, filter, and tweaked the carb a bit and she fired right up. The kill switch was corroded and wouldn't work, so I disconnected it. While I wait for a new switch, I am just shorting the wire to the frame. I used it yesterday to clean the yard.
