Zama p/n for my 036 carb

I have a Zama carb marked S49 46P C3A. Stihl says it takes a 0000 007 1079 carb kit. The friendly, and unhelpful, guy at Zama will not tell me what the Zama p/n is. Big high-security piece of info.

So, anyone have the Zama p/n for me?

Genuine Zama rebuild kits for C3A/M type carburetors are:

RB-31 (full rebuild, including welch plug, metering arm etc)
GND-21 (diaphragm and gaskets alone)

Genuine RB-31 is $10-11 and easily available.

You prolly threw him for a loop with the S49. There's a C3A-S39 but no S49.

Likely because Stihl pays extra, so you will buy the kit from them.

Yes, it does seem they are owned by Stihl...and, want you to pay more for a Stihl p/n.
