    What motor did it come with and what year is it. I think in 03 they went with larger feed opening. we have had a 99 and a 2003. the 03 has alot bigger feed opening. Its 18x32 the 99 was 18x18. Huge difference when dong alot of big limbs. Loved both machines. Nothing but quality. w

    I would go with 06 with LBZ motor, most power, 6 speed tranny, no injector issues, no dpf pipes and new emission stuff, great overall truck. The lb7 will get the best fuel milage. I think the lly in 06 came with 6 speed auto but the 04 and 05 have 5 speed. Here is a link to a duramax forum...

    Usually red oak smell kinda funny when it is wet. It doesn't really dry out though until it is split. I've split alot of big oak logs that been laying for 7 or 8 yrs and when you cut them up they are just as wet then as they were when I first cut them down. I think the bark looks just like red...
