I have a small 10" Model 1100,,, and it's been very handy for quick trimming for years,,, I realize there aren't parts suppliers for Wen anymore,,, but if anyone has a link or lead for a replacement chain drive sprocket,,, I'd appreciate it!!!

    Wood ID....

Well,,,, I went back to get the rest of the wood from last week and noticed they were shoved to the other side of the drive way... They weren't blocked like the others, so I started to wrestle some of the 4' logs in to the truck,,,, Then I noticed why I was surprised how hard they split...

    Wood ID....

I got some blocks of this wood, but it doesn't split with a 20T splitter,,, it either crushes into fibers, or tries to unwind, and makes the mess you see in the pic... I'm thinking maybe Elm, with the bark and light color... Looks like I may have to noodle the rest of it, but that's going...

    Need help with my truck

Poor grounds or loose/corroded connections are the first thing to check,,, I pulled teh dash on my 86 Dodge for the same problem, cleaned and tightened all plugs/jacks/bolts,, Some cars have dash voltage regulators, 5v I believe, to keep the gauges accurate if `the 12v supply sags (AC cycling, etc)

    Poulan 2000 "Woodsman" carb issue

+1,,, re check lever,, I have it set .062 on my 2300CVA,(Walbro site has specs) starts on first pull, and runs hard at full throttle,,, nice little saw in my opinion, set up properly... The long fuel line can get kinked as it goes thru the handle bracket and into the tank if its too long,,, I...

    Scrounging Firewood (and other stuff)

I like it!!!! I usually replace broken handles on my trash picked barrows with wood from scaffold planks, or big pallets,, then soak em in used motor oil... Get about the same patina as yours!!! That one in teh picture looks very familiar,,,

Anything as good as a 200T?

HA,,, If 2300 has good compression, and no air leaks,,, open the muffler and re tune it,,, mine is a real screamer... Its a reed valve engine, not highest RPM, but lotsa torque... That 2300 is likely the newest saw I own!!!! I like those old mag case Poulans... Good luck with yours!
