    I was quite surprised at how strong the saw felt for being so small. I shall try the fuel lines and filter tomorrow and the see about buying a carb kit. Very simple saw to work on by the looks of it!

    I have just acquired a Poulan 2000. It starts perfectly but will only idle for, say, 10 seconds then dies. It will start again 2nd pull, i can rev it up and hold full revs for, say, 20 seconds but then it also dies. It will then start 2nd pull no problem. does this sound like a carb problem to...

    Got the chance of a Husqvarna saw but theres no model number, just a serial number. The number is 1006 183. It has a metal brake handle and thats about all I have to go on at this moment in time. Has anyone any idea what model it is? I know its not much to go on

    Quick Question

    I am a novice when it cmes to using a chainsaw and was using mine yesterday for firewood. Its a Jonsered 630. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how long a tank of chain oil should last when using it constant? Should it last the same time as a tank of fuel?

    Well guys, I got the husky 61 chain brake and cover in the mail the other day. Went out to fit it on this morning....... It fits!!! No cutting or trimming required. fitted pefectly, works perfectly and i'm happy! I can use it now! A big thank you to you all for all the great help and knowledge...

    Thank you Cantdog! The handle on the cover i have bought is the old metal type. I really hope it fits now!lol. I cant wait to get the brake working.     Well i got lucky!! I have bought and paid for a husky 61 chain brake off Ebay. £15 delivered, i think thats around 30-40 US dollars. I cant wait to get it all working properly!
