Hey Mow we just caught unit sales of last year today. We got 2.5 more months of selling. We're gonna blow last year's sales out the water................
That's good to hear, A lot of people converting to wood cause of energy prices. After one trip to the woods and they find out how hard it is to saw and split a lot of them will get out of it though. A lot of used saws will be for sale.

I paid a visit to my Husky dealer during a mountainbike trip today (for a 268xp part). As we face a major financial crisis in Belgium the last weeks, his sales have dropped to an all time depth. His saw tech was building a brick wall for a new workshop....:censored:
If those Wallstreet boys ever show up in my area, they will get the :buttkick: :buttkick:

Roland,

So you are blaming Husky's problems, specifically your 268XP needing a part, on Wall Street. Very interesting.

As you were,

Joat

Dayuuuuum Joat, not really. I blame Wall Street and their hot shot bankers for creating a global financial crisis, and the average hard working Joe has to pay the price for saving the markets. It's not fair to Joe and/or to a Husky dealer .....

Now that you got a good saw you will be able to hunt more. More time sawing and less time trying to start saw. So you will get through faster. LOL

My My the saw cuts good, I had to come back to get some materials
and groceries but if it was as big of difference as ya are claiming, I would
already be done:laugh: It was not a problem cutting with out the bucket
but I have a death grip on that sucker lol!

Roland,

Just messin' with ya. Ole Tommie's busy pushing them 290s out the door, so the job of messin' with you falls on my shoulders.

Yeah, I don't like bailin' the :censored: out either.

I should have spent my money on Belgian beer instead of investing it. At least the yellow stream that remained would be less repugnant than the folks that got us into this crisis.

Rope,

Yep, when you get a good saw you want to hold onto it.

That may be I however was merely thinking of over six hundies
and how upset I would be as I was upset on half that and the 334
would probably have lasted five years. Many of those climbing saws
meet their fate in pieces and it sucks imo.

No, actually not. Let's examine the evidence:

1. Rope was inexplicably whistling an Elvis tune when it happened.

2. The handle was covered in Brylcream.

Therefore, it was the invisible HAND of STIHL that pushed that sucker to the ground.

Nice work Tommie,

Joat

Or, conversely, there was known to be a co-worker's Stihl under the tree Rope was sawin' in, and it was a downdraft created by THAT saw which pulled Rope's saw to the ground!

Proving, once and for all, that Stihl sucks...

He sat and pondered upon what that little metal ring was for.:)

Rope,
I don't know why you feel like you had to con cock this story about your Husky falling out of a tree. We're not your wife and we know you suffer from CAD, so next time if you want a new saw, just go out and buy one. You don't have to explain yourself to us. :)

Take a poke at the rope huh:laugh: thing is;if I had a lanyard on it,the
power line below would have been taken out! It would have made the
top hinge into it then the fibers would have let loose and here come the
line men and their charges!

Don't make me get the camera out in the dark I don't tell stories
when I screw up. The saw performed well today but it may just be me
however I could not tell 300.00 differance in it and the 334t. Of course
I have not dropped the stihl yet:hmm3grin2orange: They need to sell
saw insurance for these things shesh:laugh:
