Ok I got to share this, my now four year old a couple summers ago "helping" unload wood. The saw is a home depot model (my wife bought it) and I guess we have ladybug boots for ppe. One of my all time favorite pictures.

Thanks for sharing...Great pic....

little ones,, can't beat them

my little wood hauler in the first pic, and having a break in the second. all complete with aligator ppe boots!! ;)

Can't think of anything better than getting them involved, mind you starting to dread the teen years!

Don't have kids, but this was from a GTG at carvinmark's place a couple years back. Pictured is carvinmark and a happy youngster with her new chainsaw. The most incredible thing was that she already understood the difference in how to manipulate the saw for cutting versus carving...absolutely incredible what kids can learn by watching!

Here's our little guy.

Wasn't sure if he was going to be to get the wood in the trailer, but he figured out a way to make it happen. He would roll the wood to the top and let it drop to the other side. Did quite a few pieces this way

"Daddy, cutting wood is hard work, but we like to do it don't we?" Yep.

My son enjoys helping also, here is a pic (in his wife beater) from this Spring after we dumped a load on the pile.

I find it annoying when people have pictures of their kids or crap their kids drew all over at their workplace. I am going to take pictures of me doing awesome stuff and put them everywhere at my work.

At the risk of getting on your bad side......AOD, you are a very angry man.

I used to think that the crayon pictures on the wall were a bit much too, until I had two.
