to Date I have had no one break a AV mount on a Dolmar PS460, PS510, or a PS5100.... And from the competition I have seen plenty of worn or broken springs, stripped plastic where the springs attach (husky) and for no real reason. Yesterday for example a Fairly New MS270 was in floppin all over the place It had one tank of gas through it since being repaired by a stihl dealer it was wearin .325 safety and a 20" stihl bar he wanted my opinion i told him to try a 16" and get rid of that stihl safety chain that cuts like crap as well? Also had a 346 in that was Looser than he!! I imagine it would need a complete set of AV mounts to even begin to make it right.... Way can't the competition make a AV system that will live????

Why can't you seem to sell saws without bad-mouthing the competition and making yourself look bad in the process?

:)

.

Seems there has been plenty of bad mouthing from the Husky /Jred camp in the past few years ........:):)

I seem to have to order and stock plenty of Husky springs ...

i have talked to guys that for no reason the av has gone bad, and then watch them cut and the "no reason" got pretty obvious ,,,,

You mean since 1979 you have never seen a broken mount on a Dolmar. Lets see that 30 years, man they must last forever, wouldn't be stretching it abit there would ya,LOLOL

I dont think Stihl or Husqvarna really even consider Dolmar any kind of competition... When there are a thousand times more on the market I'm sure your gonna see a few broken or loose mounts...

This is how I see it... Stihl and Husky are the Ford and Chevy of the saw world. Widely marketed overpriced, underpowered crap to appeal to the masses that will quickly wear so as to promote repeat sales.
Dolmar is the Toyota or Jeep of the saw world. Not as popular among the "trendy" but well built and built to last. The kind of thing that the educated saw user finds and likes to keep a secret.

Why be a trendy conformist?
