Those xl12's are awesome saws. IMO a saw collection isnt complete without at least 1 of them or a sxl.
 
I will have to keep a lookout for one...I think after I get all the ones running that I have stashed I am going to go bigger...say 85 ccs or so.
 
Here is the NOS XL I got today. I realize it is what it is but still a pretty cool find none the less. Never run and has its original box albeit rough.

Price tag on it from Kmart $129.XX

have one but I let a friends friend take it to Washington state on a fishing trip it came back straight gassed or improper oil mix and burned up bar chine and drive torn to bits I'm still working on it

I think I would just use it for parts and find another one. There are so many of them out there you would probably have better luck finding another saw vs finding cheap enough parts to fix yours.

Yeah, it is was it is, but that's still friggin' cool. I'd have jumped on that too. :cheers:

bigger is better but I knead less competition so theirs more for me lol --- their is lots out their but whats the fun in that wen I can probably fix it
