We had an Aussie member on here once who considered himself a professional because he had never got a saw stuck... He must have been really really good

Oh and is this one fast enough for you Derwoodii??

spent far to many hours at back side of these duck n chucks from the aussiee Wayne models Vermeer etc its amazin i got hands hearing or wits left. Even up to 1999 i was collecting off the docks half a doz asplundh whisper jobs how work safe allowed them even then ???. Diabolical danger and not just the obvious operator pull through but the noise and effort to lift and throw limbs while twisting your head n back away oh&s disaster

Someone needs to drug test Wayne. I've seen meth heads like that on hillsides, blazing around with chainsaws. If they don't kill themselves or someone else, they sure can put a lot of wood on the ground.

wft my chain saw hat trick. In less than 1 minute on a small nuthin to care about limb. 1 then 2 saws pinched - jammed the last one to the rescue 441 busted its chain on the upper cut ,,,,30+ years & never ever done this:( a proud moment must be shared :)

I feel your pain! I had 3 saws stuck once :) Many of you laughed and jeered when you saw it in my "Today's Job" thread :(

Tis good to be an Aussie...We be proud men and women!.... Respect goes out to the older and new generations of Aussies, we all live an easy life thanks to them and they fight for it our way of life that we all take for granted nowadays...

I could be wrong but pretty sure that John Schumann (lead singer) registered as a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War. He also ran for the Democrats and has protested against all sorts of logging and development. Sort of left a bad taste in my mouth when I found that out after liking the song for a long time. Basically he's a tree hugging hippy decaf soy latte drinker - the kind of guy that I can't stand.

I reckon 1830's are about the most important truck in rural Australia after a j series Bedford. They kept a lot of small farmers and small businesses alive for a lot of years - and still do.

And 85 flat out? So it still has the same performance as the day it was released!
