I watched a straight gassed 550 go for over $500. You can land one from the states for $800 and p&c is $250.

I'm on a firearm reloading Facebook page. I've seen dickheads buy secondhand one fired brass for more than new brass. Now every peanut thinks that they can sell used brass for a fortune. Sad part is that guys keep buying.

McCullochs ,,,,,, what beasts they were, back when tree's were tree's and saws were saws and saw mechanics were tougher than bushmen. I met a man once who was the ''best in Oz'', I was told, best as in sales, repairs, development and everything else I forgot to mention including ''Salesman of the year''. Mr McCulloch it seems was very proud of his servicing staff, especially in Oz, these highly trained men could walk into any forest and safely demonstrate the best ways to utilize the (mac) product. In simple terms, show ordinary timber men how to run a saw to its best performance, tune them to optimum levels, and of coarse advise on the best mac chain for the job at hand. Its recorded so its a fact and,,, it seems i can show an old b/w pic of a Mac mechanic in action behind the scenes.


no offence to real and honest chainsaw service guys in the industry.

Sadly there is always d**k heads on forums, I don't frequent shooting forums, mainly because I am obviously not up to the standard to be even remotely in the same ball park as some of the regulars.
Speaking shooting, I had to listen to a ''co*k head'' I mean gentleman tell me about the abundance of live pigs roaming in a forest / national park near the farm. Top secret place only '' he'' and a few close mates know about and they sneak in and get them.

I did not have the heart to tell him I grew up roaming those bushes and even worked in the same forest when I left school, Pigs in that bush,,,, well maybe he is right if a shooting magazine was thrown out the window and a picture of a wild pig opened.
Like where I now work, never been any pigs here but wild horses (brumby's) do come out of the same forest at times so perhaps that is what they were seeing and hunting. Not.

Having an easy day today folks, (no logs to saw up) been sorting out stuff basicly moving stuff around and achieving nothing.
I noticed some Minor and Pee wee's out in the paddocks and they are a bit touchy so I thought the old Vostock Target should come out for a spell.
Have not used it in years, but soon as I get it sorted it should reduce these birds ok.
Snipped a star post way out every shot, but of coarse that's not a Minor bird, so the distance marking begins.
Can't find me muzzle break thingy for the end..... not that it will matter.

needed to buy some more Nosler ballistic tip varmint 55grain .224 spizters as naturally dear no1 only likes the expensive top shelve stuff,,,, my last box of 250 was $113 bucks from a my LGS that's well known as top dollar shop...So i ask my local web ammo sales chap nice answer $90 for the same.

I got some like that on the weekend. To my surprise it split Ok though. Normally when it's like that it's a ***** to split!

Ha ha. Good luck. It'll be either real easy or real hard. I hooked into that old grey box down the farm the other week too. Nearly killed me. Took half an hour and about 150 blows just to split one 20" round [emoji15] and that was taking small bights round the outside! Think I'll leave it cut up for a while and see if it loosens up any.
